Symbis: Symbis began as a project between Trochlear founder Jared Newby and his friend John Perez. With Newby setting the beat, and Perez working on acid lines, they released the dual-single "Egypse / Tecknology". Despite friction between the two, they worked together on three more tracks in the effort to create a full album. After the album's release, their falling out was complete, and all five of the tracks involving Perez were removed from later releases. Symbis remains a popular Trochlear entity due to the catchy, dance-club edge to each selection. The only surviving release is the "Everywhere A.M." album. As of the return of John Perez, although outside Trochlear, the six original tracks he collaborated on have been transferred to a part of his track selection as he continues on in music under the name DJ Symbis.
