Monkee Monsta': Jared Newby's Monkee Monsta' entity caught both Trochlear and its fan-base by surprise. He took turntablism, ethnic instrumentation and breakbeats to create three songs that met with immediate applause during a low-time for the Trochlear label. Of the three, "Shadow Puppets" has been most widely acclaimed. Sadly, no more tracks were created before Jared died in September, 2007.
