Epileptik Cerebral Reaktor: ECR was the second musical entity created by Trochlear Recordings founder Jared Newby. Many of Reaktor's early tracks were quickly licensed for use in film and commercials. Then, Epileptik Cerebral Reaktor disappeared. Jared had been jailed, serving three-years far from music. They both re-appeared after his release, having had years of music built up inside him. The dark dissonance from previous works remained, but now with a clean edge and method to them. Reaktor remains the most industrial of all Trochlear projects, making no attempt to tone a track down for any "easy listeners" in the audience.
